As everyone knows, our Communities and Country are dealing with the ramifications of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic.  We encourage all of you to follow the instructions provided by local, state and federal officials during this complicated time.

Over the last few weeks, we have had a large demand from clients wanting to change their existing estate planning documents, create a new estate plan and/or get copies of some of their documents.  We expect that demand to increase during this Pandemic and our offices will remain open so that we can continue to serve your needs with in-person consultations/meetings, phone appointments and, in some cases, home appointments and phone-led document signings.

The health of our employees and clients are of paramount importance.  As always, we are making sure all conference rooms are cleaned in between client meetings and we have advised our staff that they could work remotely if they need to.

In addition, in our flagship location in Albany (which building we share with Capital Cardiology), Capital Cardiology has taken the step of screening their patients before letting them into the building.  Our clients are not subject to such screening.  We view their screening as an additional and important measure which will only help ensure that our office can be accessed by our clients without sharing elevators with those who may be ill, regardless of whether such illness is the seasonal flu, a cold or COVID-19.

Unfortunately, while we will remain open, we have decided to cancel our annual Client Appreciation Seminars out of an abundance of caution.  We will determine whether those events will be rescheduled for later in the year.

We look forward to continuing to help you and your family for all of your estate planning and elder law needs both now and in the future when this virus is eradicated.
