James M. Reilly joined the Herzog Law Firm in 1973 as a Summer Associate and was named a Principal in 1979. Jim has a broad base of experience with his primary practice focusing on Corporate Law and Litigation. Jim has represented clients in Corporate Disputes, Business Acquisition Matters, Corporate Transactions, Employment Contract Negotiations, Commercial and Securities Litigation, and Appellate Practice, among many other matters.
Jim has extensive trial experience, trying cases in both state and federal courts in New York. In addition to the firm’s corporate clients, Jim focuses a portion of his practice on Estate Litigation matters including, but not limited to: Will Contests, Construction Proceedings, and Judicial Accountings.
Jim graduated from Albany Law School with a Juris Doctorate in 1974 and was inducted into the Justinian Society, an honorary legal society. While attending Albany Law School, Jim was a member of the Albany Law Review. He graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in 1970.
Jim is a member of the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and Albany County Bar Association.
Jim primarily practices out of the Albany office.
